Learning from the Lessons of Others: A Guide for Emerging Emissions Trading Markets

By looking at the European Union Emissions Trading Scheme, this article identifies some lessons that may be applied by other emerging emissions trading schemes. The article identifies five key lessons for others to consider at the design or implementation stages of their own mechanisms.
